A Year: Looking Back

The time has flown by for me this last year. On Sunday, Josh and I will be celebrating our one year anniversary! To look back over our relationship this last year, has been amazing! God has truly been so gracious to me even though I don't deserve it. Back when I turned 22, and I had wondered if I'd ever be married, I didn't imagine that God would answer my prayer the way He did. Josh has been there for me through the thick and thin. Whenever we're struggling, Josh is really good at saying, "Let's pray." When it's been one of those days that I don't know why I'm crying, and feeling depressed, Josh will stop what he's doing, and take me out for a bit. When I've struggled with feeling like I'm not capable enough to be his wife, Josh encourages me that I'm doing great. He's a studier of the Word of God, he's great at what he does, and I couldn't be more proud of my husband!

We all have those days that life just takes us down. To this day, I don't know how Josh can love someone like me. I feel as if he's so much better than me, and that he deserves more. However, somehow, through my weaknesses, he still sees me for who I am, and he still loves me. I'm so grateful for this man I get to call my husband! I love you Joshua Daniel Narwold, and I look forward to every moment that I get to spend with you, as your wife! God has blessed us, and every day I thank God for giving me such an amazing man as you!

Don't forget about the Giveaway! It ends in a little under 2 days! Make sure to share daily on Facebook/Twitter/blog for extra points.

Calling All Married Ladies!!!

Hello all!
I'm going to do a post about marriage, and what I've learned, and I thought I'd ask a couple different people to do a guest post on this topic as well. Let me know if you'd like to participate! I have a contact me on the side bar of my blog, or you can leave a comment! Please share to anyone else who you think might be interested.

Note: If you participate, keep in mind that we are to lift our spouse up, not tear them down. Please don't take this time to list their faults, but rather what you've learned, what others can learn from, and what God's shown you from marriage.

If no one ends up participating, that's okay. I just thought It'd be a great chance for anyone that would like to share something.
Blessings!

My Mom's Birthday Surprise!

This last week, my husband and I went to Colorado to surprise my mom for her 50th birthday. My dad was literally the only one who knew about it. My mom was very surprised! So much so, that she cried... see video below. :)

Josh put his niece, Norah to sleep last week. :)
While in Colorado, my family, husband and I visited with a few close friends, visited a cupcake place that my friend works at, fellowshipped with many wonderful friends, and had a wonderful time celebrating my mom's 50th birthday! :-)
On our last day there, on a Sunday, during church, I was pretty sure I felt our baby move, but wasn't positive. By the time my husband and I got onto the plane to head back to Ohio, baby James was kicking me non-stop! Now, I can see my belly move every once in a while when he kicks. The joy it brings me to know there's a baby growing inside of me is amazing! I've only ever imagined having kids, and now it's starting to become a reality! Enjoy the photo's from this last week!

Josh and I opened some baby gifts from friends at church this last Sunday. Thank you to all that gave us such sweet gifts for baby James!
An adorable outfit that my parents got for their 1st grandbaby!
